Pocket Pit Crew

Pocket Pit Crew lets you run a scrappy little racing outfit, hiring mechanics, tuning cars and making pit calls during races you watch unfold from above. It's management rather than driving, and the fun is in the tiny decisions, pit now or push one more lap, swap the soft tyres or risk it.

The interface is clean and the simulation runs fast, so a full race season doesn't eat your evening. We liked how your crew develops personalities over time, which gives the whole thing more warmth than the spreadsheet it could have been.

It gets a little grindy in the late game when you're chasing marginal upgrades, but up to that point it's a genuinely charming little sim that's hard to put down.
